Here is the latest crash from the logs - from boot up to crash - although to me I can't see the problem - not that I would know! Please help! I have done the reset PRAM, SMC and diagnostics. I thought reinstalling Sierra would fix it but it hasn't. After reboot it can be 2 mins until crash again, or a few hours. For a few days now, my MacBook Pro, 15 inch late 2013 crashes to blank screen, fan spins up and then it turns off. If you're just going to surf the web, it's overpriced, but text does look great on the screen.I am at a loss. It's dual graphics make it ideal for powerful and graphic intensive tasks and it's general power is probably more than most will need. Maybe that's because it's been pretty cold and I have yet to wear shorts while using it!For anyone who needs a powerful machine, this is for you. It can and does get hot, but it's not been uncomfortable yet.
The first cycle wasn't great and I thought it might actually be a problem, but a few more cycles and it has really started to give me close to, if not exceeding, the suggested battery life.It's so much quiter than previous MacBooks, much of this is surely down to the SSD and the CPU.

Failing that, you can download apps to customise the resolution.This Mac is fast, and combined with Mavericks I am now getting some great battery life. Obviously, the more space you require, the smaller things are, but luckily there is an easy to use scale that will help you to get the resolution that's right for you. The Retina screen is stunning, that's for sure, but depending on the resolution you go for, it's not guaranteed you'll have a load more space. I owned and used a white MacBook for almost 6 years before finally purchasing a replacement and this is what I waited for.
